Our Programs

School Clubs

Tech Troops clubs bring students together in a collaborative, after-school setting where they explore technology through teamwork, creativity, and real-world problem solving.

Personalized Tracks

online tracks give students the freedom to learn at their own pace, with programs customized to their skill level, interests, and the time they’re ready to commit.

 Bootcamps

Our bootcamps immerse students in fast-paced, focused learning experiences where they build real-world skills in a short time.

Online Programs (Individual Enrollment)

For students who want to focus on specific areas, our online programs provide flexible, guided learning with projects tailored to their goals and interests.

AI Literacy & Development

Students learn to create with AI, not just use it. They’ll learn the limitations and ethics of AI, build applications that analyze text, images, and data to solve meaningful problems.
What Students Learn:

  • Foundations of AI and machine learning

  • Text, image, and data analysis techniques

  • Ethics and responsible use of AI

What They Implement: Students create their own AI assistant and write an Acceptable Use Policy on how they will interact with it.

Cybersecurity & Online Safety

Students step into the world of digital defense—learning how to protect themselves, their data, and their communities online.
What Students Learn:

  • Ethical hacking and penetration testing basics

  • Encryption, password protection, and network security

  • Digital citizenship and responsible online behavior

What They Implement: Security strategies for their online presence, use protective tools to safeguard digital identities, and cyberbullying identification, support, and protection.

Web & Game Development

Students become digital creators, learning to design websites and explore the fundamentals of interactive game development.
What Students Learn:

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design

  • Game design principles, storytelling, and basic graphics creation

  • Programming basics for interactivity

What They Implement: Students build a personal website or blog to showcase their work and design a fully playable mini-game they can share with friends and family.

Robotics & Automation

Students learn how to code machines to think and act. Through virtual robots and automation challenges, they apply algorithms to solve problems.
What Students Learn:

  • Programming robots through simulations

  • Algorithm design for navigation and tasks

  • Automation concepts and real-world applications

What They Implement: Students program virtual robots to complete obstacle challenges, create automated workflows, and test their designs in competitive simulation environments.

Programming & Software Development

Description: For students ready to take coding further, this program focuses on advanced programming skills to bring ideas to life.
What Students Learn:

  • Python programming (beginner to advanced)

  • Writing efficient, well-structured code

  • Software development principles and project building

What They Implement: Students develop custom software projects, such as calculators, task managers, or data analyzers, and publish code they can share as part of a digital portfolio.

Digital Entrepreneurship

Students explore how to turn their tech creativity into opportunities, combining programming with business-minded thinking.
What Students Learn:

  • Game design and programming basics

  • Graphics creation and digital storytelling

  • Entrepreneurial skills to present and share their work

What They Implement: Students design and launch a simple video game or digital product, create marketing materials for it, and pitch their idea as a startup concept to peers or mentors.

Bootcamps

Our Tech Troops Bootcamps are fast-paced, immersive workshops designed to give students intensive, real-world experience in specific areas of technology. Unlike our ongoing tracks, bootcamps focus on a single skill and reduce weeks of learning into just a two-hour hands-on challenge.

Students leave each bootcamp not only with new skills, but also with a finished project they can showcase—whether it’s a mini AI app, a secure online profile, a coded robot, or a playable game.

Stay in the Loop
Bootcamps are offered throughout the year at different times and locations (in-person or online).

To be the first to know about upcoming topics, locations, and schedules, we invite you to sign up for our monthly communicaiton below.

Testimonials

“My daughter used to only play games online, but Tech Troops showed her how to actually make them.”
As a parent, I loved seeing her creativity shine in the Web & Game Development track. She built her own website to showcase her projects, and I can already see how this will give her a head start for college. Most importantly, she’s more confident and responsible online now than ever before.

Laura M., Mother of a 13-year-old

“Tech Troops gave my son confidence—not just in coding, but in himself.”
He started in the AI program a little nervous, but now he proudly explains how his AI assistant works to friends and family. The fact that they also teach online safety and digital responsibility makes me feel secure as a mother. My son is not just learning skills; he is becoming a professional expert!

Angela R., Mother of a 14-year-old

“As a dad, I wanted my child to have an edge before college—and Tech Troops delivered.”
My son has always been curious about technology, but Tech Troops pushed him beyond curiosity into real creation. Through the Robotics & Automation bootcamp, he coded virtual robots to complete challenges and now talks about studying engineering. It’s rare to find a program that balances innovation with responsibility so well.

David K., Father of a 11-year-old

What ages or grades can join Tech Troops?

Tech Troops is designed for students from third grade through high school (ages 8–18). Programs are flexible, so both beginners and advanced learners can find the right track at their skill level.

How do the School Clubs work?

School clubs run as after-school programs in two seasonal modules (Sep–Dec and Jan–Apr). Sessions are scheduled on weekdays and can be adjusted to each school’s calendar.

The school needs to invite us to establish their club; and each student needs to have their own laptop or Chromebook.

What are Bootcamps?

Bootcamps are intensive, short-term workshops focused on short tasks such as building an AI assistant, coding a game, or protecting personal information online and cyberbullying prevention and recognition. They’re a great way for students to quickly gain practical experience and walk away with a completed project. Families can sign up for our monthly newsletter to receive updates on bootcamp topics, schedules, and locations.

What equipment does my child need?

For online programs, students need access to a computer with internet. Some advanced tracks may recommend optional software or hardware (e.g., microcontrollers for robotics), but most tools are provided online. For school clubs, schools only need to provide a computer lab or classroom setup.

How does this prepare my child for college and beyond?

Unlike traditional school systems, Tech Troops adapts quickly to new technology. Students graduate from our programs already leading in the digital space: building apps, coding robots, protecting data, and creating digital projects they can showcase in college applications, on their resumes,  or future opportunities.

Does my child need prior coding experience?

Not at all! We welcome absolute beginners as well as students who already have coding experience. Each program is personalized so students progress at their own pace, learning in a way that matches their skills and interests.

How do the Online Programs work?

Families can enroll students directly into online learning tracks. Students choose a focus area—like AI, cybersecurity, or game development—and work at their own pace. Each program includes guided lessons, hands-on projects, and mentorship to keep students engaged.

How much does it cost?

The cost is $125 per student per module for school clubs.

Online programs and bootcamps may vary depending on topic and duration. Full pricing details are available on the enrollment page.

How does Tech Troops ensure online safety?

Online safety is built into everything we teach. Students learn how to protect their personal information, recognize risks like deepfakes or cyberbullying, and practice responsible digital citizenship. We also provide parents with tips to reinforce safe technology habits at home.

How do I enroll my child?

Parents can enroll directly through the website in just a few minutes. Schools interested in hosting Tech Troops can fill our application form to get started.
